Wedding in Apulia

Wedding Valeria and Francesco - Canosa di Puglia - June 02, 2017

Today we would like to tell you about the marriage of Valeria and Francesco.

But first we want to tell you a nice anecdote:

Francesco came to our study in Milan in the spring of 2014 to catter to Valeria's "Caprice": she absolutely wanted to be photographed by Diego Taroni of Photo27 in her wedding day.

And he, in love, made this gift, set up the appointment, and came to book the service in advance to make sure that Diego would be their photographer.

Friday June 2, the team full of Photo27 was very proud of this marriage in the heart of Apulia, in the province of Bari.

It is always a pleasure for us to work in such a fascinating region, with unique colors and tastes. It is always a good opportunity to discover new places and traditions.

Valeria got ready in Gravina in Puglia along with her family. The white dress was made of lace with a trawl that made it very elegant.

A celebratory toast and cutting the ribbon took place before she go in the vintage car that would take her to the church.

Meanwhile, Francesco had prepared himself and went in front of the church of St. Francesco to welcome the guests who arrived.

The floral decoration of the church was characterized by white and green shades as Valeria's bouquet. A particular choice was the two olive trees at the entrance of the church where small candles descended from the branches.

The religious ceremony ended with the usual rice shower and many hugs to wish the best for the newlyweds.

After that, the 350 guests went to the location chosen by Valeria and Francesco for the reception, Giardino del Mago, in Canosa di Puglia, while we took photos of the couple in Gravina.

Among the various courses there was entertainment: live music, first dance of the bride and groom, photobooth and much dancing with guests and so the day passed fast.

At sunset, we went out to take more pictures of Valeria and Francesco, the light at that time was wonderful.

Once the darkness arrived, the cake was cut in the garden under the olive trees, which were nicely lit by small white lanterns.

A violinist and soap bubbles made the moment even more magical.

From that moment on, the party moved to the beautiful garden and continued with a rich buffet of desserts, dances, music and "pizzica".

We thank Valeria and Francesco for choosing us as their wedding photographers.
