My #nofilter

When it comes to wedding photography, it's easy to see that images are rarely professionally post-processed nowadays. By professional post-processing, I mean all the techniques that pay a careful attention to detail, such as achieving a perfect light histogram, cropping and straightening lines, retouching shadows correctly, using vignetting appropriately, and closing blacks. Today, we have filters, those 'things' you can buy online for $9.99 and indiscriminately apply to all the images of a photo shoot. This is often done without considering whether the bride's complexion or hair color is being ruined, if the hedges are turning into sage plants, if skies are turning white, if bride's white dress is turning peach, and if summer weddings look like autumn!
The allure of fleeting trends often tempts brides into making suboptimal decisions. However, the enduring nature of photography makes it a timeless investment, transcending passing styles.
Wedding photography should be enduring, capturing the raw emotion and vibrancy of the day. Regardless of whether your ceremony was in the picturesque Portofino, the serene lakes of Italy, or the enchanting vineyards of Tuscany and Piedmont, your photos should be a true reflection of the colors and atmosphere of your special day. However, filters, like any trend, are very short-lived. Soon enough, your wedding photos will look totally out of style, just like when, 30 years ago, AGFA photos used to turn red.
I believe in the power of authentic imagery. Heavily filtered photographs often lack the timeless quality that truly captures the essence of a wedding day. For me, photography is about creating lasting memories, not fleeting trends. I strive to work with couples who value genuine artistry and appreciate the importance of images that will be cherished for generations. My goal is to document your love story authentically, resulting in photographs that are both beautiful and meaningful.
My couples just raved my black and white photography. They love the timeless quality that goes beyond traditional wedding photos. My clients get it: my images will still look fresh and modern decades from now, whether they're printed in an album or used as a digital background. That's why I prefer to let the image speak for itself without the distraction of filters.
My photography is an expression of my unique artistic voice. This distinctive style resonates with my couples, who value wedding images that go beyond mere documentation and become cherished works of art, whether rendered in vibrant color or the timeless beauty of black and white.

Photo27's photography is timeless, like a fine vintage wine. Photos with filters are fleeting, like yogurt.
