Wedding video trailer: find out exactly what it is and trust the experts.. We all use this wonderful word meaning 'trailer' in English, because it appeared in the cinema at the end of a film, creating expectations about the new film.
The term 'coming soon to your screens' was then replaced, thanks to the Anglophone invasion, by the term 'trailer'.
What is the exact purpose of the trailer?
It is simply to condense something into a maximum of two minutes (it is statistical that after two minutes the user's attention wanes frighteningly) in a montage whose main purpose is to emote and not to narrate: but condense what?
This is because the trailer must have a different language, it must create expectation, that right suspense that will entice friends and family to enjoy the subsequent short film that is a distant relative of the old 50-minute film.
Surely the trailer is a difficult product to understand if you are not familiar with these concepts. It is advisable to leave carte blanche to those you have chosen to narrate your day and, remember, important footage must be accompanied by important melodies.
